Yes, you can have two themes on Shopify. In fact, you can have up to 20 themes, but this also includes theme backups.

Whilst you can have two, or more themes on Shopify, this does not mean they can run concurrently - meaning a store split by two or more themes.

However, if you’ve factored in Shopify apps and bespoke code for each theme you may be able to switch between them when the mood arises. Do note that this should be done sparingly, as the level of work to maintain all themes when a change is required is too much to manage.

Rather than switching between two themes on Shopify, it’s a much better process to find a paid shopify theme that allows you to leverage complex layouts, thus giving you the ability to switch between layouts on promotion, season, and anything else besides.
